About Mwórveld Distillery
I’m Ger Arts, born and raised in South Limburg. I’ve had a longstanding interest in Ireland and Irish culture. During one of my trips to Ireland, I visited a small-scale whiskey distillery. This visit sparked my interest in the craft of distilling. In 2017, I decided to pursue this interest further. Currently, we produce whiskey inspired by Irish tradition, along with Kaore, Gin, and fruit distillates.
Mwórveld Distillery aims to contribute to refining the flavor palette of distilled beverages. Flavorful distillates lead to conscious consumption, where quality outweighs quantity. The flavors are achieved through the use of high-quality raw materials, artisanal distillation processes, and aging in carefully selected wooden barrels.
In the distillery, we use locally sourced raw materials and pay maximum attention to the reuse of by-products.

Location
The distillery is located in Moorveld (municipality of Meerssen, South Limburg), specifically in Moorveldshof, a beautiful centuries-old square farmhouse. “Mwórveld” is dialect for Moorveld.
