The Macallan travel series release
The Macallan Decades consists of four whiskies that were created to recreate the style of single malt produced at the distillery in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. Each of these whiskies pays tribute to a different era of Macallan’s history, with the brand’s master blenders perfecting the art of bringing the past to life in every drop.
What makes this series so special is The Macallan’s dedication to authenticity and accuracy. Personally, we are more fans of the old Macallan releases that came out before 2015. These are produced in smaller batches and are no longer in production, of which this old Macallan Travel Series from 2001 is a good example.

This time, the brand’s master blenders were able to draw from accurate documentation and archives to capture the essence of each decade.
