WannaWhisky respects the privacy of its users and takes appropriate measures that the personal data you share is handled safely, securely, confidentially and in accordance with the law.

The data that WannaWhisky collects on the website is not shared with third parties without written permission, excluding what is outlined on this topic in this policy or others. The only possible exception to this is binding request from law enforcement.

What Can You Control?

Do you have an account? Then you can go through various settings on your own. There, you can set (1) who can view your profile, (2) whether search engines can index your profile, (3) download your personal data stored on this website, (4) request to have your data deleted, or (5) delete your entire account.

What Data Is Collected?

General information that is collected includes browsing behaviour (e.g. visited pages), number of visitors, reading time, links clicked.

Specific, personal information is either filled in by users themselves in their account section or submitted by them in their communications with us. This can include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and any information relayed through these modes of communication.

How Do We Collect Data?

Contact Forms

Our website contains various contact forms to facilitate communication with us. These forms require that you fill in your name and email address. Other information includes whatever the user shares in their message. The anonymous information of the message (e.g. date and time of submission) is kept indefinitely. Personal information is kept at most three months to facilitate communications.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies: please read our cookie policy for more detailed information. The data that is gathered by cookies is used by us to analyze the website, maintain, and improve it.

What Happens To This Data?

The data that WannaWhisky gathers either on or off the website is not shared with third parties, except when it is required by law to deviate from our privacy policy. This goes for any type of information, of any source, whether that’s a contact form or a cookie. Personal data is not kept longer than is necessary.

We utilize various types and sources of data for the (technical) maintenance and improvement of our website. Some data is used to learn more about our audience. This data is anonymized; cookies on the website are set up in ways to avoid collecting or storing information that can be traced back specifically to you or your device.

How Secure Is This Website?

Every (sub)domain has up-to-date, active security (SSL) certificates installed. All traffic to and from the website is unreadable for others. We also apply appropriate security measures in all (other) systems. Consider measures like safely storing our equipment, limited access to our equipment, and various measures that can immediately be deployed in the case of theft or a potential threat. The data we can access through various accounts and entrypoints can immediately be blocked for unauthorized sources in such cases.

We encourage everyone to immediately report potential safety threats, incidents or vulnerabilities so we can take action on further bolstering our security. For such information, you are free to contact us through any means of communication listed on the website.

Your Rights

At all times, you have the right to have your personal information removed (e.g. contact info). Contact us and we’ll gladly assist you with this request.

Anonimized data cannot be removed, simply because it is impossible to trace back which data belongs to you (otherwise it wouldn’t be anonimized).
